MobileHCI 2024

Paper Presentation

From the 29th of September until the 3rd of October 2024, one of the PhD students in the doc.hci program, Eleni (Helen) Stefanidi, attended the MobileHCI 2024 conference in Melbourne, Australia. On the 3rd of October, she presented the first paper of her PhD, “Augmented Reality on the Move: A Systematic Literature Review for Vulnerable Road Users.”

She and her co-authors, Markus Tatzgern and Alexander Meschtscherjakov, conducted a systematic literature review on AR research for Vulnerable Road Users (VRUs). Based on their findings, they propose design recommendations and present six visions for future research aimed at utilizing AR for VRUs. Full paper link: https://dl.acm.org/doi/10.1145/3676490
