Eleni is a Research Fellow and PhD Student at the division of HCI at the University of Salzburg, Department Artificial Intelligence and Human Interfaces. She holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science with specialization in Human-Computer Interaction and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Crete, Greece. Her PhD research revolves around Extended Reality applications and their seamless integration into the lifeworlds of people ‘on the move’ in a meaningful and situated way. Specifically, she looks into meaningful AR concepts that aiming to assist people while ‘on the move’ in a context sensitive and personalized manner, hoping to empower them by leveraging new forms of interaction.

As one of the five doc.hci PhD students Eleni works on the topic of Mobility.
